2019 Robert August Surf n’ Turf combines with 1st annual ‘Tamarindo International Surf Film Festival’
The Robert August Surf n’ Turf is back! It will take place in tandem with the 1st ever Tamarindo International Surf Film Festival March 15-17.
All proceeds from the weekend go to CEPIA foundation. CEPIA is a non-profit Organization that is Pro Culture, Education and Psychology for Infants and Adolescents that seeks to promote culture, health, sports, and education for children, teenagers and their families from poor backgrounds in the communities of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, since 2005.
Schedule of Events
Friday, March 15th
• 7:00am Registration @ Hacienda Pinilla. Golf Tournament with light breakfast and coffee available
upon arrival. Four-man scramble, includes lunch.
• 5:00pm Doors open to Film Festival at Garden Plaza. Drinks and food market.
• 6:00pm Series of short films, with intermission, followed by feature films and raffle.
• After Party Monkey Bar @ Vista Villas hosting the after party.
Saturday, March 16th
• 7:00am : Team Surf Contest in Tamarindo, in front of Villa Amarilla. Light breakfast included.
• 5:00pm Doors open to Film Festival at Garden Plaza. Drinks and food market.
• 6:00pm Series of short films, with intermission, followed by feature film, raffle, and awards
ceremony.
Sunday, March 17th
• 9:00am: Free movie for CEPIA’s underprivileged children at Multicines Tamarindo.
All proceeds of this event support non profit organization www.cepiacostarica.org
Registration Prices
• Golf only $160. Includes: golf cart, golf fee, lunch, and golf goodie bag.
• Surf only $50. Includes: breakfast, and competition fee.
• Tamarindo International Film Festival only $15 per night, OR $25 both nights. Includes: sponsor feria, 9 short films, 3 feature films, raffle of surfboards.
• Registration price for the overall contest is $250. This includes VIP goodie bag, golf and surf tournaments and entrance to the Film Festival both nights.
